I just looked at the screen and saw 2,500 names staring back at me which is honestly more than I ever imagined when I first hit publish on this thing while pacing around my living room. It really makes me think about all those long shifts we have all logged and the way we just want to be heard about our own medical choices instead of feeling like we are being pushed into a corner by people who have never set foot on our unit.

Seeing the count tick up is honestly surreal especially since I am just sitting here at my kitchen table trying to wrap my head around all this and we are just right on the edge of triple digits. If everyone who already put their name down could find just one other person who feels the same way about these mandates that would push us over the threshold before the day is out.

Stay strong and DO NOT COMPLY! They need you, if you all resist they will have no choice..they can't afford to loose their workforce! This vax doesn't even prevent you from being a vector! There is NO legit reason to mandate.
Treat your staff with respect they worked the front lines during the worst of Covid without a vaccine and should be able to make choices about their own bodies and what is best for them. No employees should be able to mandate any form of medication.
I can understand a mandate when it is fully approved by the FDA and safe! It is an experimental drug at this point with no long term knowledge of effectiveness or side effects. I already have health issues! I dont need to risk my life for an experimental drug!
Nothing done to or put into one’s own body should be forced. This is supposed to be the land of the free not government mandated. We all worked to help these facilities survive the pandemic and now this is how we are treated?
I say no to forced vaccines. I shouldn’t have to have my job threatened or worry about my families financial well being over my decision to decline a vaccine I feel needs more data of the risks and side effects which are not being disclosed honestly to the public.

I think what Allina is doing is going to cause a crisis from the shortage of people. People can go to Bongards and get $20.00 an hour to make cheese. Why should an EMT get less money and a big hassle working for Allina? I know I won’t.
