A while back Facebook changed to include 71 different gender options, and also a space to enter your own if you don't identify with one of those options. This way the site is a more accepting and welcoming place with those who don't fit the male/female outdated gender binary.
And yet Instagram still has three options: male, female or not specified. All the queer people have to just choose not to specify their gender. A slight change could make so many people feel validified, accepted, and wanted.
So let's get Instagram to change the gender options and include EVERYONE, not just the cis binary people
