I honestly never thought this would reach one hundred signatures when I first clicked create. It is humbling to see that so many of you care about bringing these food choices to our local stores.

If the people advocating banning this food were actually about "choice" like they say they are, then they would respect our right to choose this food. Don't cave to them!
Please do not cave in to the demands of a small but vocal group of activists who are determined to let their unscientific and biased fears decide consumer choice for everyone.
I'm grateful for scientific innovation that reduces food waste and also reduces health and environmental impacts. Looking forward to these products appearing on your shelves.
There is no food 'clean' enough for the anti-science activists. Personally, I see the huge advantage - to the environment and to consumers - present in these biotech crops.
As a PhD in biology, I'm one of th people particularly well-suited to understand what GMOs are and how they are made. If anything, they are far safer than artificially selected foods. Don't halt the progress of science because some people fear what they don't understand.

I want safe, nutritious, sustainable foods in my grocery store, and this includes genetically modified foods. Please carry gmo salmon, Arctic apples and simplot potatoes in your stores. Support science. Support American farmers.
