We are asking that the leadership at 95.7 Jamz move the time slot for Alabama Now to an earlier time. This is supposed to be a platform to help grow the fan base of the home-grown talent in Alabama but the time slot is not one that really allows for listeners or artists to use it appropriately to expand their footprint. The artists, producers, and DJs that support the home grown talent want to support this show but it is difficult at the current time (11pm to 1am on Monday nights).

The feedback from local artists has been overwhelming. We are currently scouting alternative contacts at the station to present our case.

11pm is way to late for a show like this. People have work in the morning! Put it on when people are actually in their cars.

Seriously? We got so much local talent here in Bama but nobody hears it because of that graveyard time slot. Move it to prime time!
