This move seems unfair and unwise. It is unfair because it gets families trapped that made costly decisions based on past promises. It is unwise as it sends scores of people back into the arms of the existing schools from which JCOSS sought to differentiate itself. A move that will have lots of unintended consequences.

Timing and notification period grossly unfair. The proposed changes have potentially grave implications that need reasonable notice for implementation. These potential implications are compounded by past complex planning issues (such as past relocations for Akiva entry specifically due to feeder schools status) and insufficient timing for additional education in preparation of alternaitve education avenues.

The proposed changes aren't easy to understand or transparent. The close ties and similar ethos between Akiva and JCoSS can only continue if we remain a full feeder school

I believe the current policy will mean that only a few children from each Akiva class will not get in to JCOSS.

I'm so upset and disappointed that as recently as this summer, we were being assured by the Headmaster of JCoSS that Akiva would be remaining as one of the feeder schools. It's extremely unfair that so suddenly, this status has changed.

It would be a shame i such a prominent Progressive primary school stands the chance of losing its opportunity of having feeder status to a school with such a similar ethos.

We feel very strongly that AKiva should continue to be a feeder school for JCoS. They share the same values and religious ideals and are in pretty close proximity. Having chosen to go down the Jewish school route, it would be a great shame to be cut off from it half way through our childrens' school career.

The main reason for moving my daughter to Akiva was its feeder status to JCOSS. It's unfair to make the change after people moved to this school and have made changes (home move etc) accordingly.
