The school finally listened and closed the building for Tuesday to keep us all safe from the storm. I am relieved that we prioritized our well-being over a standard schedule. Thank you for backing me on this when it felt like we were just shouting into the wind.
Seeing 500 names on this petition is proof that I am not the only one terrified by the thought of commuting through this storm. My brother has to travel across the city for class and he should not be forced into that kind of danger.

Seeing one hundred people sign this shows I am not the only one worried about the commute in this weather. It feels good to know that so many others are thinking of our safety right now.

As Leader For Learning of MYP3-5, I agree to not coming to school tomorrow due to the weather condition. The school will be informed and action will be taken for this petition. Thank you all for helping make the school a safer place.

Living far away makes it hard to come to school and also find a way back home. It took me two hours to get home yesterday due to the conditions and it usually takes 20 minutes. It takes time off of studying which in DP2 is very valuable.

I live pretty far and I have only one option to go to school which is by public transport. And I fear that the public transport will be closed as well.

There is so much so snow, it is difficult to go to school, our younger siblings do not even have to bother to try and go. Thats all.

I believe that it is unreasonable to have us tr ravel yo school in such conditions since 1. The reads will be too dangerous to drive or bike on 2. There is a high chance public transport will be canceled, especially the very popular line 51 wich always seems to be the most prone to mishaps

In the past 10 years I have been here, Never have I ever seen such a bad storm. It would be great if we were allowed to stay home.

This is a gay school and would be even gayer if it had a day off!
