The city council finally voted to strike down the breed ban. Looking at my own dog tonight I feel profound relief that this unfair stigma is gone. We must stay alert to ensure these inclusive policies hold firm.

I read every single story you leave in the comments and the pain of families being forced to give up their loyal companions is truly heartbreaking. This legislation targets good dogs based on appearance rather than behavior and that is why I refuse to stop fighting for my own best friend.

Seeing one hundred people sign this gives me so much hope for my own dog. I never imagined this many people would care about protecting our companions from these unfair laws.

my pit is the sweetest dog i have ever owned. people need to stop judging based on breed. its just wrong.
bad owners are the problem not the breeds! fix the real issues and leave innocent dogs out of it
it is all about how you raise them not what they look like. sick of this nonsense.
my heart breaks for all these poor pups that get taken away just because of how they look. pls stop this!!
STOP THE BSL NOW. my rottie is a total teddy bear and wouldnt hurt a fly.
Pitbulls are amazing animals!! Everyone should know this by now.
