Downtown Amarillo is starting to look better for sure. I moved back here around 3 years ago, but I don't visit downtown Amarillo. Ever since Grahams Central Station went out of business this is no area for feeling a safe, fun and comfortable night out.
I hope the petition and new business in the area will change the environment.

There's a lot of work to be done in Downtown Amarillo, and these development projects are a great starting point.

Do not stop developing downtown at this point. We have too many people hours and dollars invested to stop this project.

Keep moving forward! I live on the southwest side of town, but strongly believe we should strive to improve every corner of Amarillo.

It seems to me we either breathe life into our downtown or let it die. I'm for LIFE.

This project is such an exciting, well-planned opportunity to give Amarillo a much-needed breath of new life. I haven't been this optimistic about potential for our city in my entire lifetime. Let's move forward with downtown redevelopment!

Our family moved to Amarillo in 1956 when I was 6. On Sataurdays, we "went to town." It was great. I wish the downtown area could regain some of that lost feeling.
Let's make Amarillo even better!
