We can revitalize downtown like Oklahoma City or have an empty downtown like Lubbock. I would rather see Amarillo move in the direction of Oklahoma City.

A ballpark and new hotel plus shops and all the ancillary businesses will do great things for downtown and Amarillo as a whole. No matter what the initial cost. A great investment in the future of Amarillo.

This development will create much more value than the cost, which will be funded from Hotel Occupancy Taxes and use fees. This is a 'quality of life' program Amarillo cannot afford to pass up.
