The downtown development project, including the MPEV, is key to propelling Amarillo forward into the 21st century. Voters who may be against the MPEV need to look beyond the here and now to see what Amarillo can be in ten, twenty, even fifty years down the road. Amarillo citizens in years past have faced projects that required an investment in the future, projects we benefit from still today like the brick streets downtown for instance. Not going forward with the downtown development projects may well set Amarillo back 20 or 30 years. Vote yes on the MPEV in November. Ken McMillan

What a great opportunity for Amarillo to grow and improve the quality of life in the city. With very little cost to the tax payer. The Hotel is a great contribution to the city using investor funds. The MPEV makes the Parking garage and hotel work.

I love the downtowns of so many other cities and I can visualize Amarillo's being just as great! If the advancements of downtown come to fruition - proceed ahead and don't stop!

Having traveled and visited downtowns such as OKC, Dallas, Nashville - our downtown can be just as much fun as theirs!! Will be completely worth the investment!
