The department has confirmed that adjustments will be made to our grades in recognition of the difficulties we faced throughout this module. I appreciate the patience everyone showed while we persisted in seeking a fair outcome. This result demonstrates why it is vital to speak up when academic standards are …

This module has, as the majority agree, been very poorly organised and taught. The majority of students are unprepared despite continuous requests to change the module or improve it. Emails have been sent to Head of Departments with no effect or change. Incorrect questions and answers were consistent in this module, with poor excuses for it. Constantly changing posts on SurreyLearn were supposed to solve issues that should not have been there from the first place. Following a book that the lecturer said was not helpful. Generally extremely poor quality teaching and support from the the Business School. Us and our grades will suffer as well, which is horribly unfair. Countless requests to make the module somewhat easier to understand and follow have been ignored. At least this way we can show how many people are unhappy.

The test was horrendous, NOTHING like lectures and tutorials. NOTHING AT ALL. Just given past papers to be confused at. Compensation is necessary, because this is just ridiculous.

This is the second time im doing this module, so twice i have gone to lecture and tutorials emailed for help and still not feel as prepared. The constant changing in answers and mistakes in the materials we have been given is totally unacceptable and unprofessional considering the money we as students spend. An awful mark from an exam that isn't well prepared can be detrimental to a students confidence, grade, time and even if they have to stay on at University or not. This isnt the first time its happened this year (Business Finance) come on surrey, this aint a joke.

Very confusingly taught, with no structure and lack of preparation of the lecturer before the lectures. A simple module ending up being the hardest to understand with the majority of student being satisfied with receiving just a pass for the module so that a resit is avoided. As the lecture attendance by students clearly suggests, students preferred missing the lecture to try and understand the week's content by themselves rather than participate and end up leaving more baffled than before.

Really badly taught module. It is unthinkable that we are having to shell out £9,000 later in life for being taught how to flunk this exam, and not how to pass it. You would think the administration of a business management degree could manage itself. I am really unhappy. Top 4 uni where? Not in this department.

The lecturer caused enormous amounts of confusions during the tutorials. He was constantly changing the ways of solving questions. Moreover, a lot of mistakes were done by him in revision notes, past papers and during the lectures. Informing us about some of those mistakes a night before the exam did not help us at all.

We were told that the exam would be 20% theory as had been practised in the past paper examples we were given. There were no theory-based questions whatsoever, other than 'comment/explain your answers' to the numerical questions, which we struggled to answer as we had been so badly taught. It's amazing and disgusting that nothing has been done despite senior management having been told on several occasions how poorly organised this module has been. Completely embarrassing for University of Surrey standards.

The whole module was so badly organised, the exam was nothing like past papers, including questions that we were told were not going to be in there. Completely unfair for people such as myself who spent countless long days in the library practicing every tutorial question, lecture question and past paper, over and over again.

I'm not happy at all, I'm used to getting high firsts in everything and now I think I've got a 2:2 in this exam. You're bringing my average down to a low first. HOW AM I GOING TO GET A JOB WITH A LOW FIRST!

Walked out after an hour, did not have a clue how to do this exam. Coming back in the summer for a retake is such an inconvenience.
