Dear Aliana HOA Board of Directors,

One of our current dilemmas we are facing is one that pertains to the lack of amenities to support our growing neighborhood. As you know our current fees are near $1200 per year. With fees that are at this high of a yearly amount, we should have top notch facilities that are well kept, up to date and available for use for the community. At this final stage, we have 3 tennis courts and 2 pools to suit a growing community of almost 4300 homes when completed. We are all experiencing the pain in not being able to use or have access to well deserved facilities, but we are paying like we do.

To put this into perspective, see these two neighboring communites below and their homes/amenities/fees:

New Territory: 4606 homes, 18,000 square foot Club facility which houses a full-size gymnasium, weight/fitness room, locker rooms, and meeting/multi-purpose rooms. The Club also offers a swimming pool with cabana, a playground, 8 lighted tennis courts, a Tennis Pro Shop, regulation sports fields. In addition to the Club, the community offers 3 other conveniently-located Recreation Centers, each with swimming pools, and 2 with lighted tennis courts. The community also offers a Dog Park, and a large Sports Complex which is home to baseball/softball fields, 9 soccer fields, a playground, and a large covered pavilion. Pocket parks and playgrounds are also strategically located in several neighborhoods throughout the community. Telfair: 2839 homes, 3 tennis courts, 2 pools, gym facility, sand volleyball court, basketball court, activity center, multipurpose recreation center (2020 fees: $800)

These stats need to raise concern for our neighborhood because we are sorely lacking in the amount of amenities based on our size as a community. We need action from you as the Home Owners Association on these concerns.
