All life is precious not least those of innocent animals. The agony, distress and loss of an animal affects so many, not least the driver. "We live in a fast moving world, but wildlife continues at it's own pace, respect it".

It is common sense to drive slowly near horses, cattle, wildlife... People need to think, be aware and concentrate while driving.

Better to add an hour to your journey

Living in Hythe I take the long routes home when it’s dark and avoid the areas where ponies roam free. If I have to go in pony areas in the dark I drive 30 miles an hour or less, 40 is too fast. Pony deaths are not acceptable speed cameras should be installed in high risk areas.

40/30 mph... day/night

The speed limit does need to be lower and enforced. You only need to see the sad sight of a dead pony on the verge with a police aware sticker stuck to it to know something has to be done to protect the animals.

Good luck...and why not reduce the speed limit to 30!

I think the speed limit through the forest should be reduced by at least 10 mph.

Sped limit needs reducing to 30mph. I frequently get overtaken and makes me cross as they have no regard for the wildlife on the roads, and nine times out of ten, we always catch them upas they have got stuck behind a tractor or something.

Your website gives no idea about what you are aiming for '#add3minutes' - can you please give me an indication of what you are aiming for?
