There is a need to address this issue for both local travellers and tourists. We all have a duty of care to the animals on the New forest

Everyone drives too fast everywhere especially on the forest where I live. Why are people so selfish.

Drivers need to slow down for animals and all road users. I am disgusted how fast people think it is permissible to drive.

Why would anyone dash through the forest at speed. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful place. Protect all our wildlife!

Sadly it's often local drivers who speed so more education is needed in addition to more speed traps. Use the fines to enhance signage and fund education programmes.

I would sooner see a 30mph. limit on unfenced roads: it takes just one selfish person to kill an animal!
