I'm afraid it's an accident waiting to happen.

my house backs up to Darrell Creek and cars fly by way too fast. It's a danger to residents and pets.

We walk every morning and cross Darrell Creek and almost no one stops for pedestrians and are flying by over the speed limit.

How much do stop signs cost? How much does a hospital stay cost?

Kids matter!! I'm for stop signs. I've seen trucks try to make the turn at 30 mph.

I prefer a traffic circle and maybe some speed bumps prior to slow traffic entering it. Regardless, something needs to be done to slow down the speed demons!

Please put a traffic circle at Carolina Park and Darrell Creek Rd. This would be much safer than the current situation and much better for all concerned that a 4 way stop!

Based on the number of vehicles crossing both directions as well as the number of pedestrians, a STOP sign is certainly warranted. May want to also consider speed or warning bumps.

we need a stop sign at this intersection. I walk and run through here all the time and car are speeding on this road. It is very dangerous. We also have kids (12 & 15) that ride their bikes across this road. It scares me to let them do this alone.

Someone is going to get hit by a car. The number of pedestrians is only going to increase. Don't wait for something bad to happen. Be proactive!

There definitely needs to be stop signs at the intersection of Carolina Pk and Darrell Creek for safety reasons. There are many children in the neighborhood and when walking and having to cross that intersection you don't feel safe due to the cars that race past.

If Not a 4-way Stop is a roundabout in our future?

It is justified to have a four way stop sign because of the number of vehicles and pedestrians entering the intersection during a substantial part of the day,
The prevailing speed of traffic,
the amount of time traffic must wait to enter the intersection,
including the availability of safe crossing opportunities, and
collision patterns susceptible of correction by stop control.
All of these justifications are nationally recognized, "warrants," or guidelines.
