This is important for the safety of our children. Many children cross this road at this intersection going to and from neighborhood amenities. We do not need to experience a tragedy with a child to realize the necessity of a 4 way stop. If nothing else, the 4 way stop will decrease speed along this stretch of road.

Difficult to cross anytime of day and on Sunday when I walk to church.

I could not agree more! This is such a concern and priority to my wife and I, we need to ensure that our fear is voiced to Mr. Morrison and the others at the Town of Mt. Pleasant. Many times cars and trucks fly past us while we are trying to cross the crosswalk. vehicles fly up on you, when driving across, even after checking to ensure the road is clear both ways... there is no doubt in my mind, this is a dangerous intersection.

A stop sign is a safety imperative at this intersection. People attempting to cross the street, especially kids and the elderly, are placed in danger due to traffic that does not yield on Darrell Creek. Furthermore, for Carolina Park, to advance the developer's vision of a beautiful, contiguous and unified development, a rotary or circle similar to those within Carolina Park would alleviate the safety concern while providing a beautiful traffic calming structure.

The trails in Riverside are a part of Carolina Park and the intersection of Carolina Blvd and Darrell Creek should have the same safety measures as the rest of the community. A four way stop sign or traffic light would help prevent an unnecessary injury or death. Lets not wait until someone life is taken to do something about this. Lets be proactive not post active. This is the type of things our tax money should be used for...SAFETY!

I try to cross with my baby in the stroller and cars do not stop! Please don't wait until someone gets hurt, or worse!

somebody is going to really get hurt. I have seen 3 close calls myself.

This is an accident waiting to happen. I have to run across the street with my baby to make it safely to the other side!

Such a dangerous intersection. Despite the 35 mph speed limit and pedestrian walkway signs, people continue to fly through there. A matter of time til someone is seriously injured in an accident.

I have a hard time understanding why there is not already a stop sign at this location. VERY scary place for pedestrians regardless of age.
