This route has got so much busier and has moved further north in the past 12 months. What is the point of NPR's if the aviation industry just ignores them and the CAA, DfT and Government look the other way. Aviation is beyond the law and needs to be seriously reigned in.
I have lived in South Nutfield village for over 30 years and the aircraft noise has never been so loud as it is now. It seems the airlines flagrantly fly outside of the flight lanes. As an ex-BA person I do have some insight into what's OK not OK - and this is NOT OK!
Noise does not just affect Nutfield, it also affects South Godstone where we live. The increase in noise is significant and impacts our lives, waking us early in the morning, disrupting our days and making peaceful enjoyment of the garden impossible.
I moved here from London to get away from the noise and specifically chose a house which, at the time, was not on the flight path. It is therefore incredibly frustrating to find that Gatwick traffic is now directed right over the top of our home.
In original consultation I suggested that they use the electronic route control to spread out the aircraft over the existing broader corridors by giving each a different route. As usual new technology not used to best advantage just the easy way
I live in Bletchingley and the planes are not meant to fly as far over the Greensand Ridge - but do frequently! Coming right over my house. The big planes are the worst as they fly so low. It's a real disturbance.
Since we moved to Bletchingley about ten years ago the number of movements has increased and planes are flying closer and closer to our house as they climb - we have queries this with Gatwick who deny this, we live on the route and know we're right!

PLease work to stop overflying of your constituents in the quiet village of South Nutfield. They fly directly over my house and ruined last summer. Conversations were impossible. I track them with an app on my phone and some fly well below 4000, especially Virgin 747's.
