We the students of this university have come to respect and admire acting. Acting is a form of characterizations necessary to express life. Students of all majors can benefit from acting as a form of therapy. Acting is also a teaching mechanism for those who want to bring life and spirit into their artwork by embodying the subject they are creating. Animators, Sculptors, Dancers and many other artists need this life skill. Seeing the benefits acting can have on an artistic career it boggles the mind to wonder why? Why would the full potential of acting for non-majors class be limited to a year when the program spans 4 years? So many students beg for the opportunity to expand past the one year of acting for non-majors available to them. We must expand acting for non-majors from one year to four years.
