Besides being one of the only access points between arch beach heights and top of the world communities the path in it's current condition is an invitation for criminal activities and or surprise meetings with wildlife scavengers predators or rattlers , every type of person you can think of uses this trail and almost every age group. Can we get it fixed? Please? If not through traditional methods perhaps volunteer groups? Please?

We walk it every day and love it out here. With friends who live on TOW it would be great to get over there easy instead of what we have now.

I take that path with my dogs and it has a lot of spots for potential of accidents. Knowing that children use it to go to and from school should make the building of a proper path a priority for the city.

Please make this a priority- there are so many parents who would love to walk their kids to school but it is just not safe with elementary kids with backpacks Etc on this path the way it is.

We had to stop walking to school. The path was too dangerous! We want a safe path to school! Please!

Current trail is not safe for any except those with lug soled boots. The sandstone coated with a thin layer of fine sand is very slippery. I have slipped and fallen on the sandstone.

I sign this petition with much reservation as I believe there is a simpler and less costly solution. Open Sommet Du Mondt to walking traffic. Most streets in Old Top of the World are private. Should we put a gate up on Treetop Lane? It is unethical and absurd that a small enclave of elitists can prohibit a needed access by neighbors to the fire road. Please also consider this alternative.

I am in support of easier and safer access to the fire trail. My wife and I have had a couple close calls in the recent past. I will sign this petition but with much ambivalence as I believe there is a simpler, less expensive alternative.
I would like to be on record that I would prefer that action be taken to open Sommet Du Monde to walking traffic. Is it not the case that most streets in Old Top of the World, including Treetop Lane, are private? Should we install gates on these streets? It is absurd that this tiny enclave is prohibiting neighbors from accessing the fire road. I am in stronger support of taking legal action to open Sommet Du Monde.

A viable walk / bike path linking the TOW & ABH ridge lines will alleviate traffic on Park and Summit providing value to the community on multiple levels. I can't think of another project that will enhance the quality of life / safety for such a significant portion of the community.
