The level of public interest in restoring vehicle access to the breakwater has grown significantly. This momentum indicates that the current restrictions no longer reflect the preferences of our community.

I have been reviewing the recurring concerns regarding restricted access to the Breakwater. My focus remains on establishing a clear dialogue with local authorities to ensure that safety protocols are balanced with public convenience.

People Travel across the country to fish breakwater. Including a lot of disabled fisher men and women. Also Holy head must have lost a lot of revenue due to loss of trade from local shops whether for fishing tackle ,buying food or bed and breakfast, and local camp sites
I strongly support the re-opening of the breakwater to car access. It is one of the few disabled/elderly direct access sea fishing venues available, which also provides safe fishing for accompanied children too.
My son has disabilities and I find it hard myself to walk any length last year we fished there at least once a week maybe more this year we couldn't it's so upsetting knowing my little boy is missing out because of the breakwater being closed.
i have fished here for 40 years and was hoping to bring my nephew this summer on his first sea fishing trip, i cant manage the walk now due to a back problem so all my fishing is very close to the car, now you cant drive down here i will have to find somewhere else for my nephews first sea fishing trip
I have fished Holyhead breakwater sinch childhood and I am now 73yrs of age with arthritus of the spine and I suffer from COPD. A ban on cars would efectivley finish my fishing days there. although it's a long drive for me from Blackburn it is a venue that is dear to me

please open for fishing,, i have arthritis can't walk far so to take car on thewre was amazing not fished now for over two years miss it so much

My partner used to fish on the breakwater because of the easy access with him being disabled he even said he would pay to fish the breakwater maybe a yearly pass paid up front with a barrier with a card pass to enter and leave that would be great.
