The landlord finally agreed to install the AC units. I am honestly exhausted from the fight but relieved to know we will finally have a comfortable place to eat.
The heat in this building has been exhausting for all of us and I am frankly tired of waiting for the landlord to notice. We are getting very near the mark that proves this is not just my personal frustration but a collective need for change. Please send this link to anyone else who spends time in this dining room so we can finally force a conversation.

It is crazy that this well established business is paying rent and bringing a steady income to the landlord and he won’t fix the AC. In this heat and humidity it isn’t safe for people to work in that environment.

Issei has become a staple of Carlisle. They’re consistently busy and bring revenue and foot traffic downtown, not keeping their building to a comfortable standard for guests is ridiculous. What kind of landlord takes years to replace faulty A/C?

I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago (just moved to the area). I thought, “this food is great, but wow it’s really warm in here!” My face was very flushed. Especially when you get a warm dish. As a customer, it’s not a comfortable environment, but I’m even more concerned for those who work here.

We were there tonight and I had to take my 8 year old outside for “air,” because he was so hot and flushed. Food was wonderful but the room was HOT!!!

Issei NEEDS better AC. It’s my favorite place to eat but it gets so uncomfortable in the summer that I have to order take out; that truly takes away from the experience.

Yes, please do this, as a former Landlord its important to nurture your tenants especially well paying, popular tenants that run a successful and thriving business. It's not only fostering a better relationship its helping keep a business exactly where its at, but it also keeps a steady income for you. Good tenants are worth the extra work!

I love Issei, but don't handle heat well. They need A/C!

Enjoyable environment would make superb food even better. Consider upgrading the AC unit.
