We, the undersigned residents, business owners and/or employees who work within the incorporated limits of the City of Albuquerque, are expressing our strong opposition of the recently passed legislation, which bans on-premise electronic message center signs. We strongly urge Mayor Richard J. Berry to veto this anti-business legislation. Electronic message center signs are invaluable within the City of Albuquerque. Banning such signs will negatively affect the business community and will ultimately lead to a reduction in tax income for the city. We the undersigned call upon the Mayor Berry to veto the recently passed legislation, that would ban on-premise electronic message center signs.
