the mayor heard us loud and clear and officially vetoed the ban. this is huge for all of our local businesses and i am honestly stunned by how many of you stepped up to make this happen. keep an eye on things moving forward but for now lets just celebrate …
We, the undersigned residents, business owners and/or employees who work within the incorporated limits of the City of Albuquerque, are expressing our strong opposition of the recently passed legislation, which bans on-premise electronic message center signs. We strongly urge Mayor Richard J. Berry to veto this anti-business legislation.
Electronic message center signs are invaluable within the City of Albuquerque. Banning such signs will negatively affect the business community and will ultimately lead to a reduction in tax income for the city.
We the undersigned call upon the Mayor Berry to veto the recently passed legislation, that would ban on-premise electronic message center signs.
Harder to run a business in this town every year. Stop killing our livelihood.

So many other things for the city to worry about and they waste time on signs? Leave them be.

Ridiculous. Let business owners market themselves how they want. This city needs more growth not less.
