It is anecdotal in nature, which will be detrimental to your child if you move to another school division and as they enter into high school and university and face the reality of percentages and letter grades! This system is harmful, and is being defended by FSD because of the time and money invested - NOT because it is best for our children.
The FSD did not obtain ANY parent input on it's design or implementation.

Totally agree. They need to learn how to work for a grade. This new system is just confusing for everyone involved.
total nonsense. they are experimenting on our kids without even asking us if we wanted this. fix it.
Ridiculous. How are kids supposed to know if they are actually mastering the material? This is just setting them up to fail once they hit real life and actual grading scales.
I AM SO DONE WITH THIS. Stop treating our kids like test subjects for your new experiments. We want grades.
My son is struggling and we have no idea where he stands because of this report card mess. Bring back real grades!
