- Prior Authorization in all medical insurances need to be abolished. They have cause some deaths, permanent body damage, psychological damage, and abandonment of treatment. A lot of doctors are burned out.
As of 2026 there is reform to prior authorization as option and not mandated. It's not good enough. I have statistics and evidence against prior authorization. I'm planning to send this petition to every current govenor in the United states. Health Insurances hired prior authorization to approve or deny medication, imaging, any treatment at all to decide medically necessary. Also prior authorization uses algorithem artificial intelligence to approve or deny treatment. Please sign my petition.
