Abolish Child Support Laws

I whole heartedly agree with this movement.

Non absent parents should not have the burden of child support just because the parents aren’t in a relationship and live apart.

I have two kids whom I get 280 a month for while my other son that my ex has custody gets 500. Now I'm in debt because of child and attorney fees. Completely unfair to my other two children. Where is the voice for them. How does one child reap the benefits while the other two get nothing.

Many raped boys have to pay child support. Enough is Enough!

I’m 24 not convicted of any crimes now on the verge of being thrown in jail over unfair child support.

Childsuport is slavery... look up the definition of slavery. And I still don't know why childsuport has my license to hunt/fish ect after all this time? This Program steals social security numbers,provided by the social security administration for citizens to receive Government benefits by compelling parents into compliance who are holders of that number with contempt of court, denial of Privileges and imprisonment illegally under duress by stealing those numbers. F.O.I.A request audits need asked of the courts to be ran on Judges,in lieu of Bribery & in violation of judicial duties Cannons Judges code of conduct 1,2,3 and 4. If any payment is being received by Child Support then they have financial gain in the negative outcome of every case.

Abolish the child support laws, they ruin peoples lives. Why not just raise it on sales tax and add it to the equation? Then people won’t feel punished or scared to have children. It’s not normal to have children or want to have children and have fear and terror of a carnage system called child support, that goes based on income which is also abusive towards and individual. I think every one should pay a small tax and single parents who get child support need to get it like cash aid or ebt. It also leaves me powerless, the woman can decide if she wants the baby or not but the man can’t? This is wrong on so many levels, this abusive predatory financial tactics need to come to and end already.

I have 5 kids 2 moms first one receives 1500 month and the second 1000 month I only make 3k after taxes. Cannot afford to eat , housing bills and I am now facing the possiblity of losing my license or going to jail because of back child support

Child support is debtors prison and should be for absent parents and not failed relationships. It's also completely unfair that in a 50/50 custody agreement someone still pays child support to the other parent.

seeing men being crumbled and not being able to make a life for themselves to be able to provide a safe environment for their child due to this child support is sickening to me i would love to see it end.

Or update and make fair child support. I.e. tax credit

Like someone said in the comments if it's her body her choice then it should be her responsibility. Abolish child support!!!
