Abdul Sattar Edhi (1st Jan 1928 to 8th Jul 2016) a name that need no introduction! Edhi was a prominent Pakistani philanthropist, social activist, ascetic, and humanitarian. As a founder and head of Edhi Foundation Pakistan, he ran the organization for a great cause for nearly six decades. He was considered Pakistan's "most respected" and legendary figure.

A national hero, Edhi created a charitable empire out of nothing. He masterminded Pakistan’s largest welfare organization almost single-handedly, entirely with private donations. He parented thousands of orphans, rescued injured, looked after dead bodies and created a huge charitable infrastructure consist of hospitals, dispensaries, ambulances, orphanages, and schools, the base is so strong that it’s going to sustain for decades in future. Edhi's life is a beacon of hope and we need to make sure that our children learn from his great contribution to humanity and to our beloved homeland.

In order to achieve this objective we request Government of Pakistan to engage top education reformists and with their help draw a practical plan to include Edhi's lifetime dedication, achievement and details of his struggle in our nationwide School Curriculum. Let's also request our top education researchers to help in this cause to inspire and teach our younger generation how a single-handed Pakistani with no bank balance helped millions of needy people. So details of Edhi's life in curriculum would enable our kids to learn values and ethics like honesty, patriotism and dignity. By taking this great step we will not only protect Edhi’s legacy but will also pave way to create many more Abdul Sattar Edhi in future..Insh-a-Allah.

We are hopeful that Government of Pakistan will consider our request and start taking practical steps toward this cause.

Dear Friends, we will do all possible efforts to convey this strong message to:

  • Prime Minister of Pakistan.
  • Chief Minister / Governor of Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
  • Federal Education Minister of Pakistan.
  • Prime Minister of AJK.
  • Chairman Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
  • Head of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Pakistan
  • Chairman Private Schools Association of Pakistan.

Please sign it comment and then share with your friends and family circle.

Lots of prayers and best wishes

Very good effort Pakistan goverment should take this step In this regard to pay homage to the great soul of Edhi saab. His replacement will not be available for many years and he was the only one who had nothing for himself and gave so much to others His name will remembered across the world And we all pray that almighty allah may provide his soul the top most place in jannah and Allah may give us the ability to follow his footsteps in our life and guide others aswell (Ameen)
