Abdul Karim Ali renowned Southern Cameroon Muslim Scholar and the president of the Peace Research Center (PRC) has been on hunger strike for two weeks. He was abducted by the Biya regime after returning from the Justice for Peace ... conference in Geneva at the behest of Humanitarian Centre for Dialogue (HD). He was abducted for expressing his views on the war ravaging the former British Cameroons. We are petitioning for the immediate release of this endangered scholar if he continue to not eat or drink, rapid kidney and organ failure can result in death.

I just spent the morning drafting messages to international human rights offices because the silence from the regime is honestly terrifying right now. It is hard to focus on anything else when I think about his health failing in that cell but reading the thoughts you all have shared keeps me from burning out entirely.

Seeing this much energy behind Abdul Karim is overwhelming because I honestly worried that people might just scroll past this. The momentum is building so fast that it feels like we finally have a real chance to force them to pay attention to what is happening inside those walls.

This is a man who has been has been talking the truth on TV stations about what is really happening in southern cameroon and cameroon as a whole. I have not seen were freedom of speech will lead someone to prison but in Cameroon and Africa as a whol am signing this petition for his realse thanks
Abdul Kharim is a noble man. What has he done wrong other telling the truth as expected of a teaching Islamic scholar to be arrested?
Abdul karim was Unjustly kidnapped right in front of the Swiss Embassy in Yaounde. This is a disgusting and desperate act by a genocidal regime that persecute people just for speaking up. He is victimised just for standing up for his downtrodden people. Self determination is a right and speaking up is not a crime. Free Abdul karim.
Abdul Karim is speaking for the voiceless and helpless people of ambazonia/southern Cameroon and he has been kidnapped by French Cameroon just cuz he is an Anglophone.

AbdulKarim was arrested by the repressive regime of genocidal dictator Paul Biya and locked up in their dungeons for speaking up. There are thousands of Ambazonians currently locked up in their dungeons under filthy and horrid conditions for fighting for their right to live free. They must be released immediately.

Abdul Karim, like any Cameroonian world citizen, is entitled to the right to speak freely without fear of being incarcerated. The Cameroonian government must respect this right and release him immediately.
