This road is a nightmare journey at the best of times without all the road works. One or 2 sets at a time would be better than this carry on

Get a grip Transport Scotland, the roadworks are a joke and the management of them as well. Why ASC at KIncraig and NO work in progress, just a money grabbinng exercise.

I am travelling the A9 on a weekly basis just now from Inverness to Perth and all these roadworks at once are a joke. Great you are setting up this petitions as we know there is years of roadworks ahead just hope they can plan them better

Ridiculous having speed restriction and no work. There's also been roadworks on dual carriageway a few miles before bruar and no work, it doesn't help closing the dulled sections.

I use the a9 to travel to bruar every second weekend, on a friday and sunday, the road works are a joke, alot of the work could be done at night, obviously not the dualling but temp bridge repairs come on, recently it took nearly 2 hours to come from buar to dalwhinney, i work in the construction industry, this needs better planinng

Travelled as a tourist through these roadworks last Sunday. No work being carried out at all but still 40mph limit - very frustrating and the limit seemed pointless. Put us off visiting the area again, thank goodness we're going home on a different route.

I just can't believe that in this day and age, Transport Scotland is unable to specify a far more efficient approach to traffic management. Last Friday @ 7.30pm took over 30 mins to get through around 80 metres of works northbound at Dalwhinnie (no southbound traffic to speak of) while 2 road men look around! It ain't rocket science ....... unless you are Transport Scotland!

Fed up, sick to the back teeth of my time wasted in the unnecessary delays on the A9 .

I didn't mind the 40 mph limit for 8 minutes, it was the 45 minute delay just north of badenoch and strathspey for one little bit of roadworks that was unacceptable!

Rent the road by the metre to the contractors on a daily basis to complete the works. They will then keep the length of the roadworks to a minimum and work 24 hours a day to complete them.

Please start the road work at night so I can have a better journey.

If there are no roadworks going on why are the cones still there? Please lift them at night and over weekends if no work is taking place

On Monday 28 September at 16:30 it took almost 2.5 hours to get from Aviemore to Pitlochry, a journey that normally takes just over an hour. Was stuck in a tailback north of Dalwhinnie that must have stretched at least two miles. Also, why is the stretch from Kincraig to Dalraddy 'coned off' and restricted to 40 MPH when there are no roadworks?

Totally appreciate delays are necessary in order to get the dualled A9 we so desperately need, but please consider working at low traffic times. Travelled down today with not too much hold up, but agree that the new 40mph limit from Kincraig to Dalraddy is as yet unnecessary as no spades are in the ground and no visible workers on site.

Took me 6 hours to get from Inverness to Edinburgh on Monday - try that with 2 toddlers in the car... the vast majority of the affected road had no work going on. A doubling of the journey time is not an acceptable price to pay for these works.

As usual an utter disgrace - we always suffer up here - time they were scheduled at night.

It's a dam disgrace 40mph on a 5 mile stretch at Kincraig and not a worker to be seen (get a grip)
