As a passenger on this route the 40 mph signs without any work going on seems ludicrous - look forward to the end of it all in 2017

As a frequent user of the A9 I have found the trip from Forres to Stirling is taking me an extra 45 minutes

I don't know why you cannot do the work at night like other parts of the country, it would save a lot of frustration.

It's disgusting miles and miles of nothing happening yet 40 mph signs .This is the way to cut down highland population. We travelled the A9 on Fri there was two accidents in same day . Get this shambles sorted before you have blood on your hands.

If they can't get this right we will have to put up with these delays for years and years from Inverness to Perth

Dreadful mismanagement - how long do we need to endure this?

Would it be worth considering using the old A9 as a one way system during the construction of the new dual carriageway .

It's all very well having clever people organising important things for everyone else, but do any of these 'clever' people have any common sense or do they live in a world of their own?? Scottish government just need more cash so motorists are the easy target.

Why has no consideration been given to night working? It happens in other parts...

I have just travelled up the A9 last night I saw no cars on that stretch of road at the 40 mile restriction but I had to stick to the speed unless I was wanting a penalty fine. Would it not be better if the works were carried out during the evening and night when there is not so much traffic on the road.

A9 dialling is a priority but change to road closures between 11pm and 6am for overnight work to speed up the completion. Logical.

Public money spent on a disorganised maintenance program.
On an incompetent managed road scheme.
Finance for these chaotic schemes has to be regulated.
You should be ashamed to call yourself professional.
Utter disregard to the publics transport needs and rights.
Instead of issuing half apologies.also communicating the public to plan journeys .
Your firm of road managers need to plan using night shift and consulting maintenance ENGINEERS
Public information of your success is not in Transport Scotlands favour.
I may even look into legally start billing for my companies delays.

Nightmare journey from Perth to Inverness and waste of my precious time sitting at traffic lights waiting for over 205 vehicles move through the traffic flow. Also concerned if there was an emergency
