Traffic management and delays on the A9 between Perth and Inverness

The programme being followed (if a programme of works even exists) is not even an amateur attempt at traffic management. Why close dual carriageway sections to work on before the single carriage sections have been made to dual? This has only made the a9 resemble the road it was before it had any dual sections, so to make it a better road, we have to put up with years of it being worse than it ever was?!!! Someone in a position of power really needs to answer to this & face the type of consequences us mere peasants would face if showing the complete lack of thought, planning & management in our own jobs, being flagrantly displayed by this bunch of incompetent outfits

Travelling from Inverness to Perth is taking 1 hour longer .If work was being carried out it may be acceptable but when no work is in progress it is very wrong .

Why speedlimit when no works ongoing?
Why 40 limits on motorways in Scotland for roadworks but 50 limit in England?

Cones no one working 40mph for mo apparent reason those appalling cameras frustration is causing more problems and leading to more accidents on a road that has more than its fair share

kincraig has been over run by people avoiding the road. as i live on the side of the old a9 y should we put up with are village being used as a rat run

i live in kincraig on the road side and the traffic has become unbelievable throw the village with people avoiding the speed cameras. and the speeds they are doing. there has already been a crash in the village.

I fully appreciate the need for traffic management at road works but this is an extremely poorly thought out system. Please can you do something to improve traffic flow at these roadworks.

I travel a lot and it's slow going if your Stuk behind a lorry or 2 but then to have 4 mile of road works with nothing going on when I went down 40 miles hour and back up week later and still no sign of anything going on. Since the cameras being put up its added half hour to my trip I don't mind if I'm safe but their are some people that take chances but 4 hour delay with nothing much hangings I sent good no wonder folk take chances

Diverting north and South travelling traffic through small towns on the A9 is a disgrace
