I commute from LLangefni to Ewlow daily. My journey now averages 1hr 40 mins with it taking 2.5 hrs on a fri. There is 2 miles of single lane traffic with no work being carried out. WHY??

This is causing chaos on sycnant pass where my wife rides her horse I fear for her life with the amount of traffic.

Would it be possible to use more labour to finish the job quicker, i.e. 2 gangs instead of 1, or 3 instead of 2 and do we need quite so many cones which all have to be moved whenever a change is made?

What a complete farce the A55 is, miles and miles of cones and you never see anyone doing anything!!! Bangor is much quieter than normal, because people don't want to face the traffic hell that is the A55!!!

Either the A55 is not fit for purpose or requires a fundamental change in the way it is managed with much greater focus on traffic flow rather than what appear to be needless roadworks and implementation of bureaucratic H&S rules (miles of cones for just a couple of workers pottering around)

There is too much unnecessary work on this road. Also would be better if the spelling of the petition was correct.

Nine weeks to do the lighting in 2 tunnels obviously not on piece work. They were quick enough to get the cones up though

Please consider these changes because the impact on people's lives and ability to get to work is been greatly affected.

Why nine weeks! Seems a long time to just change lighting

Lift the restrictions at peak times, and shorten the length of single lane working.
Above all get more workmen into action. Only a small number were doing anything yesterday. It's outrageous.

Trying to avoid via the Sychnant Pass was a frightening experience as so busy. Queues during half term week huge and so disruptive

Hope they see sense! It's ridiculous. It's affecting surrounding roads too. Llandudno junction was gridlocked yesterday!

The tunnel is a few hundred yards long. The lane closures are for several miles! Why?

Most of the sections with cones are empty with no people working at all. It's an absolute joke, and people going to work are very affected by this. This road is always having roadworks to improve its efficiency, but the efficiency never comes, because after a few weeks, it then has more roadworks.

Road works? Where are the workers?
No sense of urgency to get the job done, are they trying to intentionally drag the job out?

amazed to see such little work in progress for such a length of delay. Highly inefficient, showing little regard to the needs of the important tourism industry

I frankly don't give a dam about new tunnel lights. The a55 should never have stop lights in a rush hour ever!
