I have travelled the A55 in North Wales for very many years and never a week seems to go by without road works. Does this road truly need constant road works?

I think this is a absolute joke. What takes me 10 minutes drive to work. now takes half an hour or longer. No thought gone into this job.

An absolute nightmare. Why not restrict to nighttime only? It appears to me this road has far more roadworks/lane restrictions than almost any other trunk road in the UK. For people having to use this stretch of road on a daily basis it is totally unacceptable.

My wife works in chester and travels from anglesey which niw means she yet again leaves 6.35 each morning and arrives home upto 8pm at night. Yet again A55 is a disgrace and the people who "plan" the works want shooting. My wife doesn't get to see our 3 year old for 5 days and it is a regular thing as a55 always a nightmare. Hold ur heads in shame Edwin Hart...u ruin transport as u did health dept

Why upgrade the lights? Because of a directive from EU. NEVER seen an accident in the Penmaenbach tunnel. NWTRA ARE A DISGRACE JUST ANOTHER WASTE OF TIME QUANGO.Edwina Hart hang your head in shame.

Why does it take so long to replace the A55 tunnel lights? Why is contraflow in operation when no-one is working? Why is the contraflow in operation during the rush hour?

The A55 is truly horrendous. I have to use to get to work (Bangor to Flint). There is no consideration for local people. Miles of contra flow, no sign of any one working. The ultimate insult is the Portaloo in one of the coned off lanes in the tunnel.

4 miles of cones about 25 workers to be seen not doing a great deal most of these by puffin roundabout nobody within the tunnel

Work needs to be done, but so often there are no workers at all on the coned stretch. The planning seems totally inadequate.

Yet more road works on A55 and the lights work fine without leds and the roundabouts do not cause a problem. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AGAIN.

There is no consideration here for the local prople. Conwy and the sychnant pass where i live are just ridiculous now. Cars tear up here with no consideration for residents, many of who are right on the road with no pavement, walkers, cyclists, horses... plus all the lorries from the house building which have been causing congestion. We have no pavements, no road markings and no speed signs. It took me 10 minutes to get out of my drive this morning and i have rude people beeping and flashing lights when i try to get in my drive as im in the middle of the road. Conwy s a one way bottle neck tourist trap, the pass is narrow and steep and weve had enough. Another 2 years of this to sort round abouts at pen?!

I am going through Glan Conwy, tal y cafn, gyffin, just to get to Conwy! Nuisance, specially in the holidays!
