It took me 1 hour to travel between Llandudno Junction and Dwygyfylchi turn-off on Monday around 11.30. This is ludicrous! It might have been quicker had motorists obeyed the one lane instruction but of course there are a number of people who think it is their right to get to the front of the queue and hold up everyone else! The only alternative from where I live is to travel over the Suchnant Pass, which is unsafe for heavy traffic!

Talk about a good way to scare business away from North Wales. No thought at all for haulage companies let alone their drivers.

A55 roadworks are now imposing sizeable costs on local businesses and a radical rethink is required on how and when the works arecarried out.

A journey from Liverpool should not take 4 hours. Most of the time is sat in traffic at Penmaenback tunnels. This journey normally takes 2 hours . It is putting people of visiting Wales.

It takes me 30 minutes to do the 3 mile stretch of roadworks. The roadworks should not be active during peak hours.

The A55 is the M4 of North Wales.
This level of disruption would not be tolerated in that corridor.

Very poorly conceived with no consideration of the road user or local population. Local businesses severely affected and students arriving late for classes so education disrupted as well. All minor roads dangerously filled with motorists desperately trying to go about their daily work. This is disastrous!

A contraflow should be set up on the eastbound carriageway permanently throughout the period of the work and the contractors made to work 24/7 in the westbound tunnel instead of working only at night.

Nearly run off the road inside the Conwy tunnel as Irish coaches ignore the RED filter arrow and push pass. Traffic Officer did nothing but watched.

Plenty of money to create all this chaos for over 20 years now on the A55. But not a penny in all that time to fix local roads which are full of potholes.
It's a pain in the a55
