These roadworks are a nightmare and adding so much to my journey please lift during peak times and weekends. Please work during the night to speed up this major route.

I live in Llandudno and study at Bangor, and have 3 children who I bring up alone. I have 3 9am starts and am missing lectures as it is taking me up to 2 hours to get there, furthermore a lorry was inches to hitting my car in the penmaenbach tunnel last week when cars in front of me had to break quickly.

I have to drive on this road at least 4 times a week and these road works are ludicrous. No matter what time I leave I'm always late. They're completely unnecessary and far too extreme.

What was a 45 minute commute from home to work is now taking anything up to two & a half hours and the same on the return journey .... Ludicrous and the lane closure should not be in place during the rush hour periods!! I've witnessed so many near miss accidents this last week, it's become not only a ridiculously long journey but a potential dangerous one.

Why can't they leave the work during the day and just close the tunnel at night? It may be the work would take longer but there would be no disruption during the day.

Travelling anywhere between Penmaenmawr to Colwyn Bay during the daytime has become a virtual impossibility with road works on near enough every conceivable route - it is not just the A55 that is currently affected. 1hr 10 minutes from Rhos on Sea to Conwy is absolutely farcical. The idiot overseeing these road works needs to get their head out of their backside.

Let's work together, free up the roads at peak times if it's possible!

These works are placing children lives at risk, two primary schools are situated just off Conwy Old Road with children walking to school along there. The quantity of traffic using this narrow and winding road to escape the A55 places those children at risk of serious harm something must be done before a child is hurt

We live on Conwy Old Rd and are finding it almost impossible to go anywhere by car . The volume and speed at which other drivers are using this road is ridiculous , all kinds of vehicles are going up and down Sychnant Pass and many of the drivers have no idea how to drive on such narrow roads . An accident waiting to happen .

These roadworks are an absolute joke, you can't bloody move between Junction and Llanfairfechan without getting stuck in traffic.
It took me 45 minutes to go from Deganwy to Llanfairfechan on Saturday evening, the journey normally takes 15 minutes. Sort it out.

i think it's ridiculous that the roadworks are up during the holiday they are normally removed plus the Conwy food festival was also on this weekend I usually go but as it took me over an hour to get from Conwy tunnel to pen I decided it was not worth the hassle

I need the A55 to keep my business running and so these road works are having a big negative impact.
Please reconsider the logistics and implications of these delays
