I have been delayed on numerous occasions and whilst I accept work has to be done, the way the roadworks have been planned, 2 different sets so close to one another on the weekend of 25th and 26th is nothing short of stunning.

No consideration given to the people who use the A55 on a daily basis to go and from their place of work. Work should be suspended between 7.30 am and 9.30 am and then from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Also consideration should be given for a no roadworks over the weekend. It's coming up to Christmas and the last thing people want is a 2-3 hour delay before they start their Christmas shopping.
Local business will be affected as people will spend less time in shops and resort to ordering online.

My last journey through these works was extended by 2 hours. The police also had to get involved to manage the backed up traffic. I've yet to spot anybody working on the roadworks. The lane control should be suspended morning and evening rush hours

Ridiculous and dangerous that we have NO alternative route along the North wales coast - the 'south' welsh assembly do not understand and more importantly don't care to.

If a lane has to be closed for "essential repairs" then make sure some flipping work actually takes place. Last two times going through the mess I haven't seen any work taking place. Appalling management.

I travel from Bethesda to Rhos on Sea for work. The road works have made my commute intolerable. In a rural area such as North Wales people need to able to commute fair distances in order to find secure employment. The A55 does not allow people the option of reasonable commutes to work. It is our only major thoroughfare and it has utterly failed the population that relies on it.

More pointless roadworks, are they going to address the problems on the A55 ? NO, Lets face it the road is not fit for purpose and continual waste of public money fiddling around the edges and blaming motorists is not going to solve the problem. Utter disgrace

Why on earth cannot it be upgraded properly and thoroughly once and for all?
All that seems to be happening is incessant faffing around with inadequate works.
The traffic disruption caused this time is unacceptable.

A fatality will occur with the number of idiots travelling at full speed along the Old Conwy Rd. trying to avoid the chaos on the A55! Yesterday two sports cars overtook another car at speed just after the cemetery before the farm where the road dips. We pedestrians don't stand a chance. The police need to monitor the speed on the Old Conwy Rd. If all the residents in Pen and Dwy park on the road outside their homes, the police/council would soon have to do something with the ongoing chaos.

Have to go through the tunnel to get to & from Work at Manchester each day, its a nightmare (and its been half term so a great deal less cars on the road!) added 1-3 hours a day to my journey.

as usual there is no consideration for the local people, or indeed for the traffic trying to get to the Holyhead ferry service! <><

An hour and a half (3.30-5pm) yesterday to get home to Pen from Colwyn Bay. Westbound traffic was backed up from just before Llandudno exit and was at a standstill at several points before inching along and stopping again. We wondered if there had been an accident, but no - just the traffic.
I'd like to add my voice to those wondering why the cones for the single lane start before the Conwy tunnel when the actual roadworks are three miles further on. This apparent overkill is causing untold chaos and frustration and leading to drivers taking risks, not to mention the sustained negative impact on local residents and businesses. The A55 Carpark used to be a bit of a local joke, but it's way beyond that now. Please, whoever is responsible for this bit of 'planning', take note of the hundreds of signatures and comments on here.
