This is nightmare travelling to and from work everyday.9 weeks then xmas THEN WHAT !! More roadworks till easter i suppose !

These roadworks are causing absolute misery and unwarranted risk. It's negligence on the council's part to not consider the impact this has on safety.
My husband commutes 50 minutes a day already and having to use that dodgy suchnant pass is unfair at this time of year and so frequently. It's completely uncalled for.
We're the ones paying for all this through council tax so the strength is to us and we say no thanks.

Experience clearly indicates beyond any argument that insufficient thought and assessment was given to traffic flows for this project at the design stage.

Very poorly planned roadworks. As is typical these days, there are miles of queues with no sign of any work actually taking place.

The main issue is also the speed these cars are coming through as well trying to get out from Penmaenmawr for hospital visits.

I have to commute to work via bus. I never know if my bus is going to be on time, if it will show up, or whether I will get to work on time. As a manager of the store I work at it isn't appropriate to show up late.

The tailbacks going west START before the tunnel under the River Conwy which is about three miles before the roadworks. Why????

Definitely affecting local businesses. I travel from the wirral to North Wales to my Hairdresser. Nightmare journey..with young baby in car..

Work like this should be done at night time only or at least take the cones up during rush hours morning and evening its common sense...

As an A55 user of 24 years I am disgusted at the disruption caused here continually with no sign of any work being carried out. Not a soul to be seen all week other than traffic control officers. No good reason this could not be completed between 9pm and 6am for min disruption. Absolutely no consideration for business, local lives and tourism.

Sorry but 3 hours of driving a day is not on. That's 15 hours of sitting in my car a week. I already know of 5 people who are now looking for jobs elsewhere having heard about the plans to get rid of the roundabouts in 2017. They're applying elsewhere, thereby leaving jobs they like because they can't cope with balancing their family life along with crazy travelling times on the A55. This isn't even a one-off. It's every year, sometimes multiple times in a year. I'm also applying elsewhere for teaching jobs. I'm actually so fed up of living in Anglesey where there are no jobs without driving on the A55 for 3 hours a day that I'm thinking of leaving North Wales altogether. I was born in Bangor and have lived here all my life but I feel quite resentful because of the predjudice I encounter due to being a 2nd language Welsh speaker and therefore having no choice but to drive along the A55 to Conwy where I am permitted to speak English (even though my skills and intelligence are very secure so I should get jobs easily - but who cares about that eh!) My colleagues working in Rhos on Sea have 15 hours a week more at home with their loved ones, or in which they can mark, plan and resource their lessons. I don't have that time because of the ridiculous commute. I now have to work EVEN harder, go to bed EVEN later and get up EVEN earlier than I used to. It's really no wonder I'm suffering from anxiety and depression. This doesn't help!

A55 is a disgrace with massive delays both ways for locals & travellers. We should be encouraging tourists to this area not putting them off - unfortunately we locals don't have a choice. Sick of it.

Come through last night at 12.30 miles of cones but no one working on Llanfairfechan side if the road it's a joke Olson traffic lights; no traffic one side why have it on red on side where traffic is .

I now live in the midlands and how many people avoid north Wales because of the state of the A55. This costs the local economy a fortune

A55 was supposed to make communication from NW Wales good. It could be but has rarely been, because work has not been well scheduled or sympathetically guarded. I go another way, lower speeds between pauses, but less time overall and more attractive.
