The amount of traffic on the A30 between the St Erth roundabout all the way to Penzance has increased year on year and is now so bad that it is blighting the lives of the residents in the villages along its route.

I lived in Crowlas for 7years, moved out due to the issues of getting on to the A30 every morning. I still have to travel through Crowlas daily and it's always congested. I have tried taking the back roads to avoid traffic, equally as dangerous! This will be the best thing for this stretch of road, how many more lives will we loose before something is done?

The need for the by pass becomes more prelivant everyday. The grid lock now is just awful.

The need for a bypass has been there for many years, why our "politician" has jumped on the bandwagon now can only be political - is his seat marginal after the last election

I live in Crowlas on the A30 with two children and fear for their safety. Every week when crossing the road on the crossing, cars jump the red light as they are going too fast to stop or are just oblivious to the crossing. The motorbikes speed through the village and the noise and congestion makes living here in what was once a nice village simply unpleasant, especially during the summer months. I won't even start on me trying to park on my driveway.........sometimes I simply sit waiting, on occasions for up to 20 minutes, for a clear enough break in the traffic to reverse!

Something on the Crowlas crossroads definitely needs to be done as soon as possible before a tragedy occurs.

Crowlas has far too much fast traffic travelling through it. The crossroads are a danger to all road users. Residents risk car drivers not stopping to allow them to cross the road. This has happened to me even when a red traffic light was operating.

We so need this bypass. Traffic has increased to such a level that there is a constant stream of traffic running through the village for most of the year. Pollution and noise is horrendous and it is a nightmare trying to join the A30 from side roads.. It nearly went ahead years ago and plans already exist so hopefully we must be on top of the queue by now.

This is so long overdue needs doing to protect long term health of residents and to allow people to work effectively in times of high volume traffic

A bypass would be very welcome considering safety, pollution and congestion. However some of the proposed interim measures such as the traffic lights at Crowlas crossroads and At Erth, will unfortunately cause utter chaos and lead to the back roads becoming rat runs.

As we live on the cross roads this would make life a lot safer as it is a night mare to pull out going to the right towards Hayle and there should be at least traffic lights put here to stop accidents

I support this totally. It can't come soon enough. Getting on to the A30 is becoming impossible and dangerous.

Very dangerous around Ludgvan School junction a bypass is just what's needed for the local people and those visiting to provide a safer efficient way to commute

A dual carrigeway is desperately needed in this area as the volume of traffic heading into pz on a daily basis especially in mid summer is total chaos..

I absolutely agree with a bypass from Camborne to Penzance but disagree that urgent measures be taken as there is certainly going to be traffic calming for at least 8 months whilst work is carried out at St Erth turn. A speed limit of 30 mph for the whole road would help. Also totally disagree with the idea of traffic lights at Crowlas crossroads. Need to look at the vast number of diesel lorries turning at these crossroads and polluting properties and people on their way to the quarry often with uncovered loads too. Traffic lights could lead to a convoy of these lorries idling in both directions and causing even more pollution and endangering the health of people, and their journey past Ludgvan school could have an impact on children.
