Walking past the empty spot on our sidewalk where Yvette and Marty used to sit makes me miss them even more. Seeing your notes about how much they brightened our block reminds me why this living memorial is so important for all of us.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me how much Yvette and Marty truly meant to the people on Norris Street. It feels like the neighborhood is finally pulling together to make sure their presence here remains permanent.

they were always so kind whenever I walked by the house. it would be so nice to see something green there in their memory.
yvette was the best neighbor ever. miss seeing them outside every morning. definitely need a tree for them.

I really miss my mom so much and Marty was like the father I never had I miss you guys
