Final supporters
we voted for her, we supported her, and we were very excited about a change in leadership on the city council, but she has not been a good influence on Charlottesville and we need new leadership. The recent posts on social media are embarrassing and divisive. At some point you have to wonder if she has some kind of mental health issue, much like the former President. It's a seeming inability to filter out what's appropriate and what's not. Its time for we the people to remove her from this position, and find an actual leader willing to make Charlottesville great again. We need 793 signatures on this petition to start the removal process. Lets get someone in office that supports us rather than making crazy statements on her personal social media accounts.

Watching the latest posts arrive has been infuriating because it shows just how little regard there is for the people who actually live here. I am spending my evenings documenting every disrespectful comment because the city deserves better than this ongoing circus.

The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and proves that our community is tired of the constant division. People are finally seeing that we deserve better representation than what we have been forced to endure.

All leaders should not only be ethical, integral and empathetic, but they should also lift others up and bring people together with their words and actions. Mayor Walker’s latest public poem is just one of many examples of her combative mindset as a public leader. I’d like to see her voted out and vote in more amazing leaders like Chip Boyers.
There is no place for hate politics in our city council. Such high hopes for positive change have been dashed by aggressive anger and a complete lack of cooperation. I hope Ms. Walker can find a proper outlet and appropriate position as an activist to champion the many causes I also support. I wish her the best of luck.
The Mayor is not supporting our city by using social media platforms to vent her anger using incendiary language that ultimately causes harm to all in the city.
I voted for Walker and regret it! This "poem" is disgusting coming from our towns Mayor and sadly it is not the first time she has embarrassed our city. She should be removed immediately!
I have lived in Charlottesville for most of my life and would say this is the least racist city In which I have ever lived (California, New England, and Baltimore included ). The mayor is a disgrace to what is a wonderful and decent place to live, or at least was until recently! Oh, and I forgot to mention she’s dishonest…
Definitely needs to be removed from office for the Outrageous comments written about the city is Charlottesville and Posted all over social media. ; not to mention the “gift cards “.. anyone else would’ve been ousted immediately!!!

We were enthusiastic about Ms.Walker’s candidacy. Finally an an African American mayor! But sadly she’s used her position to divide rather than unite. She has no idea how to conduct herself in this role. She needs a therapist not Facebook. Frankly I think she can’t stand white people.
