The SE Delco District Musical has proudly been around for what will be 39 years this coming season; however there is a strong fear that due to current conditions in the program that this streak may come to an unfortunate end way too soon. For the past 4 to 5 years since the responsibilities of directing changed hands, things have started to deteriorate within the program; certain selections for possible musicals to perform have been sub-par as well as too risqué for children, participation from both children and parents has severely diminished, and the amount of respect shown to most, if not all, volunteers has drastically dropped to practically zero... Most, if not all, of these issues can be pin pointed back to the current director of the musical. We are taking action and calling for a change in leadership. We as fellow parents, students, alumni and friends of the SE Delco Musical Program are very concerned with the direction of the program as it stands and are calling for a change of leadership.
