Although we share the sentiment of the current situation of #feesmustfall at CPUT, it cannot be done at the expense of students that want to finish the academic year. These students also have rights that are just as important. It is CPUT's responsibility to ensure that students that want to write their exams can write it in a safe environment.

This is a petition for all students registered for Medical Imaging and Therapeutic Sciences calling for an alternative and safe exam venue so that we can complete all outstanding assessments before the end of 2016. We cannot be expected to forfeit our holidays again as a lot of us have holiday jobs to fund our studies or travel great distances back to our families.

As a result of us not being able to complete our assessments on campus, transport will have to be arranged by the MITS department for most students to the alternative venue.
