I live in Thong Lane and this will become a rat run for people avoiding the tunnel approach when it is congested. It will increase traffic and noise pollution in an area where there is already two major motorways and a major train link with London. I say NO!!

Option C is not suitable for the existing A2 capacity between M2 and M25. This road runs at near full capacity and without significant upgrade Gravesend will be unable to cope. The proposed route runs too close to housing and will destroy green belt, health, & communities.

Option C is environmentally devastating, and destroys SSSIs, ancient woodland, heritage landscapes and living villages. If a new crossing is needed, it should use brownfield land, and solve the problem where it is most likely to be effective - at Dartford.

Totally unacceptable, will not resolve the current problems and years too late once Paramount is built. A bridge to replace the existing tunnel can be the only way forward and will clearly resolve current issues as proven on the southbound carriageway.

This part of Kent was carved up enough for the channel tunnel. The roads are a nightmare already. Add this crossing and the whole of this area will become an urban wilderness. People LIVE here for goodness sake.

Preservation of sites such as this are so important. My maternal grandparents are buried in the lovely churchyard and my mothers ashes were buried in their grave. It's a haven of peace and quiet. It should not be spoiled

We need a solution but ruining the gravesend area is not it. Let the freight ships go straight up to Essex so saving Kent. Option C is not the answer.

The decision to build tunnel at thong lane is a disaster. It won't help Dartford and will just ruin young families lives. We must protest. It can't be option C at all. We don't want shorne of thong lane
