The problem is the ban was to prevent danger but if someone is that determined to hurt another not being able to carry there backpack isn't going to stop anything.

The way I see this rule is if your gonna allow one backpack allow them all or don't allow any of them I mean come on people this is bull shit

It's very hard having only 4 minutes of passing time, and having to go back and forth to my locker. especially when its on the other end of the school from where half of my classes are...

i feel when students carry their backpacks around with them to every class makes them more prepared for class as if they couldn't carry their backpack and kept on leaving things they needed in the lockers or just not having them at all

I used my backpack all four years of my high school career and nothing bad ever happened. Nothing is being prevented by this rule, except students being to class on time.

I think its ridiculous how they expect us to fit all the text books they give us and the note books that we have to carry into a small string backpack like no way.

I think the new back pack rule is honestly so stupid! I spent 65 dollars on a new back pack that I barely get to use? Plus it's faster then going to my locker anyways

i have no time to stop at my locker in between classes to get my supplies for each class during the day and the string bags are extremely inconvenient considering that I am an ap student and my textbooks are to heavy to carry in these types of bags

Thanks to the school, I had to buy a string backpack. I got a huge English book today and it will snap that string backpack in two weeks. Listen, I'm not rich. And I don't have the money to buy 20 string backpacks this year. I don't have time to go to my locker, can't ever get into them really. If we have to have string backpacks, at least give us 7-10 minutes of passing time.
