Honestly, this is a idiotic rule and we shouldn't have to be expected to carry text books, binders, etc. to classes. The books that are assigned are bulky and heavy and someone could dropped them break a toe, foot, pull a muscle in their arms. This is not strength & conditioning it's passing time. How do you expect people to use the restroom, go to their locker, and get through the hectic halls, and still get on time. Just seems ridiculous to me.

The back pack thing is really big inconvenience, I can't carry my books in a drawstring bag with out worrying about my bag ripping or breaking.

Backpacks should be allowed to be carried during school days. It's also nearly impossible to fit all our school books, notebooks, and all our supplies in just a drawstring bag.

I find it hard for me to get to my locker in between classes considering that my locker is no where near any of them. Plus, I'm an ap student and the books we get are heavy and carrying a regular backpack around isn't going to hurt anybody. Hopefully we will be able to carry regular back packs again since last year there was no problem doing so. Drawstring backpacks aren't going to cut it when it comes to carrying around heavy books in them, plus I spent a lot of money on my new backpack and I'm still gonna use it.

The kids need to be able to carry their books. The focus needs to be on teaching kids respect for one another and themselves, not on rules to increase their burdens.

I do not want my kids to use the bags with strings because they cut into their shoulders. What's the difference if the bag has strings or if it has wide straps.

This rule in no way improves security and only makes it harder to get through the day for students and teachers.

Because some people don't want to bump into other people and have their books fall on the floor... Then they look up at the love of their life. Those are fairytales! It's embarrassing when you drop your books. Everyone would rather just keep their books in their bookbags, where it belongs.

I find this a bit over the top. Either way if something bad is going to happen it will. A back pack will not be the cause of it.

There is no way to make it through the halls to my locker on the opposite side of the school and to my class in four minutes. We get in trouble for being late, but it's impossible to do when have to go to lockers for everything we need for our next class

It makes it a lot harder to get from class to class and when a teacher stops you to talk to you or you leave one class to go talk to an administrator you have to be even more late stopping at your locker to get stuff

if you think i can get from the upstairs math hallway to past the girls locker rooms (where my locker is) and back while trying to get through all the people in the main hallway, you're insane. you're also insane if you think a few textbooks, some notebooks, etc. will fit in a drawstring bag. pls west high. pls.
