So Overton high school got the petition goal and they don't have to wear inform we shouldn't have to wear it either if we met our goal went over . So I'm begging you for us not to plus I'm too poor to wear uniform I don't have any please can just wear our regular clothes it is way better for us and or age we should have respect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not that I follow dress code anyway but it'd be nice to not have to worry about getting sent to the office.

compared to desoto county schools and even Collierville and Germantown our dress code is so strict and honestly not necessary

All this strict dress code does is put more stress on the kids going there that already have enough stress do deal with at school (exams, tests, homework, finals)

Kids do spend more time getting in trouble for small things than doing what they really need which is learning. They spend more time in the office than in class and just because their jacket is a different color. We need to be learning for tests , exams, and life. Yet we are always in trouble for little things that shouldn't matter.

sometimes i just feel like wearing jogging pants to school cause I'm just not feeling it but no i get pushed to the side and get held in the office for a really long time FOR JUST JOGGING PANTS. and you know what? I missed a very important lesson FOR JUST JOGGING PANTS. Fix that

I do not believe a dress code improves the school at all. Day by day we have so many people violating this uniform, that it isn't even worth it to try and get people to listen. We are one of the best schools, and I believe that is due to the amazing students. I believe it's time to reward us by changing this strict uniform.
