Students should be able to express themselves and be more confident in themselves because they are showing who they are and what they like. It also helps the parents too because every year parents have to go out and buy new uniforms for their child just because they outgrew them or are messed up,when parents already just bought them new regular clothes to wear. So in my opinion, getting rid of uniforms kills 2 birds with one stone.

I don't appreciate being stripped of my freedom of dress. My education is more important than some uniform. Let me learn in style.

Students shouldn't have to worry about buying new uniforms every year. The uniform policy is extremely unnecessary at this point.

Even though you guys didn't let me on your basketball team and I ended up going to Lausanne and becoming the best center in the NBA, we didn't have uniforms in Spain and we shouldn't have it here. Let the children represent their Grizzlies without getting kicked out of class for not having a uniform shirt. Are you willing to argue against a former Defensive Player of the year, 2x All Star with Olyimpic Basketball medals? I signed back with Memphis just to sign this petition. #NoUniforms #VivaLaSpain

If that's what the kids want then I back them on that. It's not the clothes that causes bad behavior....we see that.
