This development will not be in line with the needs and developments of Leighton-Linslade and has not been thought through with local knowledge and understanding of how people movements work. The only proper entrance is out onto Soulbury Road, rather than any links for walking and cycling which would help people link up to the housing area immediately next to it. The additional bus route will mean that direct buses will become less direct and yet still offers nothing extra to local people already living near to that area. It is not integrated or inclusiveof the town, but simply a little island of add on. Needs rethinking, or possibly not doing, but houses put on brown field sites in teh town instead - harder to do, but much better for the town than edge of town additions like this.

i have already emailed avdc to express my strong opposition to the proposed plans on valley farm land. linslade and leighton buzzard cannot take anymore traffic or developement. the proposed plans are simply not sustainable on any count and should be rejected totally and absolutely.

We do not need more houses in Linslade/Leighton Buzzard there is no infrastructure to handle extra volumes of traffic, it's already congested in Leighton buzzard and beyound!!

Leighton Buzzard train train station is already stretched to capacity due to the recent addition of Billington park. Also people using the station are parking along local streets as the train car park is already full and expensive. Parking in the local town centre is also difficult during busy periods making it hard to unload children/buggies. Lastly we have limited green space in Linslade and use the fields opposite Derwent Road on a regular basis for walks with the children

it is hard to see how Leighton Linslade can soak up this additional strain without planned infrastructure upgrades. The town has no obvious plan to deal with this influx so this plan has to be rejected.
