Linslade and Leighton Buzzard cannot cope with any more nearby developments bringing people to our shop, train station, schools and surgeries. our town is already gridlocked several times a day and our health services areal ready severaly overstretched.

50 houses would be stretching what could reasonably be considered sustainable: 300 houses is merely a cynical proposal with complete disregard for the quality of life amongst existing and proposed new residents.

This site has had multiple applications rejected, and this new application is a rehash of previous failed attempts. There is nothing new in this application.

Linslade (Bedfordshire) does not have the infrastructure - schools, shops, roadways or funds - to manage such an influx imposed by another different county (Bucks). I would be keen to see an impact assessment which has thoroughly considered the negative impacts on existing residents due to the aforementioned infrastructure issue, impacting current residents quality of life and value of homes

There a number of problems with this scheme. 1) A massive increase in traffic coming into town. There are already big queues to the bottom of Soulbury Rd, particularly on a Saturday. 2) The schools and surgeries need more staff to cope with the existing population, let alone the extra this scheme would bring 3) This is a development supported by Aylesbury Vale Council, Bucks, but it add a financial burden to a Central Bedfordshire town.

We do not have the infrastructure on our side of town to cope with more houses and although in Buckinghamshire they will use the soulbury road to get to town and we already have traffic problems.

Another development which doesn't have the proper infrastructure behind it. I also understand that the council tax will not be received to benefit LB/Linslade but we will bear the brunt of over demand on our existing services.

The local area cannot sustain this level of development. New homes are not needed in this location, which is a valuable greenfield site.

This is an island development that turns its back on the existing community of linslade. It is unsustainable as relies on car ownership. The financial benefits in terms if s106 contributions will go to Aylesbury Vale while the social costs will be met by Leighton Linslade Council tax.

I object to this proposed development for the following reasons:
(i) The proposed location of a junction just yards from the entrance to Greenleas school will result in a significant increase in traffic, particularly at school times creating real risk to parents and children as well as other traffic.
(ii) The local infrastructure, i.e. schools, doctors are already stretched and could not accommodate the effect caused by a possible 1500 residents.
(iii) The sewage system in this area is already operating at full capacity and any increase will result in potentially hazardous occurences
(iv) This development has already been considered unsustainable and there have been no changes to the plans other than an initial reduction in the number of properties, however if permission is granted now then it is highly likely that further development will take place.
(v) All benefits will pass to Aylesbury Vale and to the builders while the costs e.g. schooling, health, sewage, waste disposal etc. will all be met by Linslade
