We have been using this walkway frequently and have really been enjoying it. Many other communities have walking paths and we have discussed how we hope Ukiah extends the walkway. It's great but it is too short.

I just returned from a trip north through OR, WA and Canada. We enjoyed multi-use trails in many communities.

Let's have more trails to allow us to walk and bike reather than drive everywhere! Let's also do something about the transient problem in Ukiah. We don't see transients on trails in Sebastopol, for example. What are they doing right that we could learn?

I really hope that this trail gets funding to finish connecting all of Ukiah.

The trail is a wonderful relief from the congestion and noise of the neighborhoods on which it borders. Kudos to the City and private individuals who made it happen. The cost is greatly outweighed by the fabulous benefits to Ukiah residents. Hopefully the trail will be expanded on the north and south ends in the coming years.

yes, infrastructure is expensive. It's a long term investment in our community.

A fantastic addition to Ukiah! Please continue the bike path to the south and north ends. I will ride this path to and from work, one less car and cleans up Ukiah's skid mark.

It's wonderful to have a safe place to walk /bike in Ukiah. It would nicer if we could have the trail extended to get from one end of town to the other without walking on the streets.

Expand, expand, expand! Rail trail = freedom ... from toxic exhaust fumes and drivers who are texting or angry or intoxicated or under the influence of demonic forces or ... Railtrail-elujah! (And if you need help getting your bike working come to the Ukiah Bike Kitchen at the Farmer's Market at Alex Thomas Plaza, every Saturday 10 am - 1 pm)

Bicycling and walking are both good exercise and do not pollute. Invest in the long term health of our community by spending tax money on green infrastructure.
