We demand that TorahAnytime Remove Chevi Garfinkel & Yakov Duvid Klar from Their Platform

Chevi Garfinkel and Yakov Duvid Klar have active Child Victim Act cases against them and are both accused of sexually abusing children.

Currently, TorahAnytime has 233 shuirim posted by Chevi Garfinkel and 15 shiurim from Klar. When asked why they continue to endorse and give a platform to accused chilld sex abusers, their response was "we have a psak from a rav", but so far, have been unwilling to share who that rav is, and have refused to remove both accused abusers from their website.
Continuing to put Chevi and Klar on a pedestal and evade reasonable questions as to why and what rav allows them to do so is disrespectful, not only to Jewish survivors, but to Jewish families who use their service. Enabling sexual abuse in our communities is unacceptable and dangerous.
We demand that TorahAnytime:
- Remove the shiurim from Chevi Garfinkel and Yakov Duvid Klar from their platform, at least until the lawsuits are closed.
- Be transparent and public regarding the psak they received to allow them to keep accused child sex abusers on their platform.

The silence from TorahAnytime remains incredibly painful for those of us who have lived through the trauma these individuals represent. My inbox is filled with messages from other survivors who feel just as betrayed by this platform choosing to hide behind an unnamed authority while keeping abusers on display.

Seeing this momentum grow proves that our community refuses to remain silent while these individuals are given a pedestal. I am overwhelmed by the courage of those stepping forward to demand basic safety for our children.

enough is enough. my kids use this site and i dont want them listening to people like this. take them down.
Disgusting. Who gave this psak? If you cant say then no one should trust you. Get these people off the site now.
I’m signing this it the hope you remove them, although I doubt you will I expect no morals from the chareidi world
How is this not self evident? Why would anyone want to learn torah from a site that has child abusers on it?
It is time to protect the children. All adults have the ability to protect themselves. We must protect the children. When will the frum community do the right thing?
Believe survivors, and act that way.
Organizations who enable abuse have got to go.

As a survivor I find the behavior of TorahAnytime to be the the complete opposite of true Torah values.
